Terms and Conditions
UK Same Day and Europe
The below terms apply to all non-account customer bookings, in addition to our standard RHA Terms and conditions (latest revision) and The International Conventions Concerning the Carriage of Goods by Road (C.M.R.) for Europe.
Insurance
Your consignment is covered up to the values listed in the RHA Conditions Of Carriage. For enhanced cover, please reach out to a member of the team.
Additional charges
Waiting Time
Vehicles: Small – Luton Vans
- 15 minutes free waiting time applies at each collection and delivery site, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Additional waiting time will be charged at £5 per or part of any 15-minute period.
Vehicles: HGV’s
- 60 minutes free waiting time applies at each collection and delivery site, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Additional waiting time will be charged at £40 per or part of any 60-minute period.
Loading/Unloading
- A fee of £20 per or part of any 30-minute period will apply.
Redelivery/Redirect
- Additional fees based on time, distance and any handling will apply to all redirects and redeliveries.
Cancellation
- No cancellation charges will apply if a driver has not been allocated to your booking.
- If a driver is on route to collection, a fair charge will be applied for the time and effort incurred, up to the total value of the booking.
- Full charges will apply when a driver has reached the collection point or is on route to the delivery location.
On Board Courier
These terms and conditions apply to all non-account customer bookings for our On Board Courier service.
